It's tough to imagine hockey playoffs when I just saw our weekend forecast for Las Vegas and they're saying we'll be in the 90's! Still, I can understand what a good pro team can do for a city, particularly when they're playing well. Good luck!

I've been a hockey fan since before there was hockey here.

We used to have an exhibition game (actually a couple) in the city.

They would have people sign the petition to get a team started here in the bay area.

Every year I signed that thing - yet never thought we'd have a team.

Now that we do - I am in no way a fair weather fan.

Hockey in the Desert?   Works for Wayne Gretzky in Phoenix - why not LV?

Hi Luke - I know the answer...  It's the same number as the stripes on their sleeves!

The Islanders are a great organization.  I can only wonder what winning the cup might feel like.

Now that your team is out who are you rooting for?
