Rich - Thanks - and yes it is there - Filed under realtors. It's alphabetical. You are right below Mary Smartt and a bit above Jay and somebody in Putnam -
Who's that? Sounds like an ice cream company.
You can also see that they are "all read".
Good one Mike! Love the tutorial... (yeah, you showed Rich for trying to self promote hahaha) Oops...he's AR now...shshhhhh.
Chelle - Everyone here has a feed they are publishing from AR - Most of them don't know it. I read every post that in the newbie group this way. Great for outside blogs, great for AR blogs too!
Terry - Thanks !
Jen - There's one other trick I elluded to called the "JJJ" trick. Coming soon to a blog near you...
Richard - You bettcha! I have given my assistant, and my wife the ability to add dates to my calendar. I also have the Cal Bears football schedule, the SJ Sharks Hockey schedule, all financial matters (Fed minutes, Job Reports, Home sales, and so on) filter to my Calendar.
Sally - I was going to delete his comment for the comment spam but bit my tongue instead. You notice I didn't even mention that the last post was back on Dec 30th... I wasn't even going to say that. Nope, not me...
This is wonderful information, a great tutorial, and now I have one more thing to add to my list. I already have google so will get the igoogle set up. Then I can go in and add the blogs that I'm interested in. Thanks so much,
I'm really beginning to like the video tutorials. Nice presentation... I like the quality...sound needed up a little.
Love my google reader... THanks for sharing yours.
Great timing, I spent quite a few hours this weekend setting up my igoogle pages and feed reader.
How do I delete blogs from the reader? Have too many it is mind boggling.
Thanks
This was my first chance of playing with Jing. As you can tell, I'm no Jeff Turner.
Here's a couple of links that might help answer all your questions:
I wrote this post earlier, Blog Reading for Un-Dummies
Google's Feed Reader is here: Google Reader
And if you want to start reading the 110+ blogs I am subscribed to here's the LINK
To properly import that you'll need a little help. Blog Reading for Un-Dummies has directions to use your built in Reader in Internet Explorer. I'll have to write one for Google's Feed Reader.
How do you delete blogs you've subscribed to? Easy. In the left bar, click on the title of the feed, as in Mike's Minute. Top right you'll see a button that says "Feed Settings", drop down to "unsubscribe".
This is also where you would tell your reader what folders you want that feed filtered into (like my FUN folder)
Really cool tutorial Mike. Kept thinking how did he do that while watching, then saw it was jing. downloaded it and want to learn how to do that.
trust the new year is serving you well, and thanks again for this one.
cheers
Hi Mike,
Very helpful to have this. Wish I could be as organized and focused as this but now maybe this will give me the inspiration! :)

Gary - This was my first try at Jing. I definitely have to up the volume. Learning as we go.
Linda - LOL As you might guess I have a system for Gmail as well. I use Outlook Express. All my gmail goes there and is filtered so in my Gmail inbox - it never shows as being read. At Mike@PatagoniaFinance.com I normally get a couple of hundred emails a day. Much is spam - but I don't have a spam filter.
Lisa - You are welcome!
